The revised code of practice
for meeting special educational needs came into effect on 1st. January 2002.
The revised code takes into account the SEN and Disability
Act 2001.
Advanced Extention
Awards aim to challenge the top 10% of the most able students who now have
to be identified by Schools for a National Register of Gifted and Talented
pupils.
An experienced curriculum leader can take Senior Leadership and Heads of Department through the principles of inclusion and the statutory requirements for Schools.
