It is a statutory requirement for all Schools to have formal policies to guide Staff in a number of situations.

Individual Schools will develop further policies to ensure that there is a common approach among Staff to the "day to day" management of the School.

An experienced Inspector of Schools can introduce the principles of Policy Writing, Policy Review and Policy Evaluation to Senior Leadership Teams, Governors and Staff.
