Evaluation
is not the same as Monitoring.
Monitoring is an exercise which is carried out during the school year to check
that an agreed target, in a Development Plan or a Scheme of Work for example,
is being addressed.
Evaluation determines to what extent achieving that target has led to school
improvement.
An experienced Curriculum Manager can outline the strategies for effective evaluation
and how what is learned can be used to revise Policies and Methodology
