Following a pilot of the National Stategy for Key Stage 3, the report from OFSTED (Feb. 2002) focussed on the developments in the teaching of English and Mathematics.

Other strands covered are Science, ICT and the improvement of Teaching and Learning in other foundation subjects.


A Registered Inspector can help in the formation of a development plan to address the four key principles of the Key Stage 3 strategy
