                   the software that controls your computer. They can be found on
                   the "Microsoft.com" web site. - Worth a regular visit.

Defragmenting
                   Worth carrying out about once every 3 months. Found via clicking on
                    Programs > Accessories > System Tools> Disk defragmenter.

ScanDisk
                   Always ensure that the "Automatically fix errors" box is ticked.
                   Programs > Accessories > System Tools > ScanDisk.

Windows Explorer
                   This is the programme that enables you to Alter - Delete - Move - Rename
                   any file on your hard disk. Further explanation link
